About Coach Flex & Coach Marsha

We’re Flex & Marsha – a mom-and-dad coaching team helping parents feel strong, energized, and confident again.

We started The Bodysmith Inc. because we were tired of fitness programs that didn’t make sense for parents.

We don’t have perfect schedules.

We don’t live in the gym.

We don’t pretend parenting isn’t exhausting.

We lift.

We coach.

We raise kids.

We juggle practices, dinners, school, work – and we do it right alongside you.

Our belief:

Parents don’t need more pressure.

Parents need simple, doable steps that create real change.

You deserve:

– Energy

– Confidence

– Strength

– Support

– A routine you can actually keep

And we’re here to help you build it – one step at a time.

FLEX SMITH

Flex has a B.S Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University. He is a Professional Natural Bodybuilder, a Jack Canfield Certified Success Coach, an NGA Certified Personal Trainer, an ACE Certified Personal Trainer with a specialty in Sports Conditioning and Behavioral Change, and has a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

His passion for fitness stems from his exposure to the martial arts world as a child. When Flex was 8 years old, he began taking Sho-Kin classes with his Uncle, the owner of the Hillside Sho-Kin Karate Academy in New Jersey.

Through his training, Flex was taught to master two important skills: how to individually activate his body parts to execute strong and precise body movements, and how to control his breathing to maximize his power. The importance of muscle and mind connection remains at the core of everything Flex teaches in The BodySmith Plan.

Marsha is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer who pursued her studies in nutrition to teach others how to make better food choices, and decrease their reliance on medicines and other treatments. Marsha has a red belt in Krav Maga and is committed to using her background in nutrition to teach men and women how to naturally heal their bodies, chisel lean muscle, and reduce excess body fat.

Marsha was raised in a family where healthy meals and fun physical activity were the cornerstones of all activities. This native New Yorker was raised in a Jamaican household where colorful and tasty foods were the staples of all family meals. Marsha’s Grandmother lived to 108 years old, and her active lifestyle taught her that longevity is a choice.
